From the west side of Castiglione della Pescaia is possible to explore marvellous beaches with crystal clear water such as Le Rocchette, Punta Ala, Casetta Civinini, Cala Violina and Cala Martina. On the east side of the town, where Hotel Perla is located, there is a very long, sandy beach all the way to Marina di Grosseto and the Natural Park of Uccellina.

Driving about an hour south east, you can visit the famous Saturnia Hot Springs and the astonishing towns of Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana, which are also known as the “città del tufo” because they are built on “tufo” rocks. Argentario and Capalbio are wonderful seaside destinations if driving south on the coast. Driving north, you can visit Massa Marittima and Bolgheri area, where one of the best wines in the world is produced. Also easy to reach are Siena, Montalcino and Monte Amiata when driving inland.
